The name Turtle Cove Dental was chosen through an inspiration. Dr. Lee Prohofsky was trying to create a name that quietly symbolized a feeling. He and his wife had made a list of words trying to describe a concept and when he looked down the left side of their list the word "Turtle" jumped off the page.

That led to the mission statement of striving to create an environment where, "Trusting Understanding Relationships Through Listening and Education" can be fostered. The new dental office in town, Turtle Cove Dental opened in december of 2004 and is setting itself apart from the typical checkup visit you have experienced or dreaded in the past.
